I’m an illustrator, designer, and artist. Born in Massachusetts (USA), I now live in the southern Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada.

I love graphic shapes, textured colour, creating an atmosphere, and telling strories with pictures — whether fiction or non-fiction. As an illustrator, I am always up for a deep dive into the natural world or history. As a designer, I love finding order and structure in information and making it attractive, clear, and beautiful with images, colors, and typography.

I’m lucky to work with great publishers like Page Street Kids, Orca, Kids Can Press, Sasquatch Books, Owlkids Books, Charlesbridge, and Candlewick.
