Sounds All Around introduces the science of sound in a fun, picture-book style. The text by Susan Hughes is brilliant: it’s inviting and approachable and firmly science-based too. I also illustrated a companion book about light. I had so much fun working on these books with editor Jennifer Stokes and designer Andrew Dupuis. They really encouraged a light and playful approach that came through in the artwork.
